Crofton Town Club Book Club

Join us for a lively discussion of the latest best-seller, or an old classic! We meet once a month from September through June at the home of one of our members to discuss a book that has been selected by the host or hostess. The host or hostess may provide light refreshments, but please Bring Your Own Beverage. Feel free to come even if you haven’t finished or read the book, and bring a guest! Be sure to check out our next event and RSVP to the host/hostess if you plan to attend. And don’t forget to put down your book every once in a while and attend our Social Events, or a Moms-n-Tots playgroup.

If you have any questions, or would like to suggest a book and host, please email bookclub@croftontownclub.com.

Upcoming Events

March’s meeting will be at the home of Linda Sayan on March 23rd at 7 p.m. We will be discussing Sarah’s Key by Tatiana de Rosnay. Please RSVP for address and directions.

In April, we will be meeting out at Mi Casita in Crofton to discuss The Help over drinks and appetizers. The Help is a breakout account of Southern segregation during the 1950s and 1960s, as told from the maids’ point of view. CTC will treat for appetizers, just bring some money for a drink. Meeting date TBD.

New members are welcome to join in. As always, we will draw for a door prize and the hostess will provide a light refreshment.

To find our books, members are encouraged to try the library or join Paperbackswap.com to trade in their old books for new selections.
