Moms-n-Tots

Okay, so the name is a bit misleading—we’re not just for moms! If you’re a dad, grandmother, grandfather, aunt, uncle, nanny, or friend, we would love to have you and your tot (or tots) join us. Our free playgroups give children a chance to engage in age-appropriate crafts and activities or interact with
guest performers, and caregivers get time to socialize and learn from our guests and each other.

[At left, Social VP Dara Keyes and her son enjoyed a visit with Santa during our annual Christmas party in December.]

Please note: We have a new location! Moms-n-Tots will now meet at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Crofton, 1370 Defense Highway. We usually meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, with exceptions for holidays. Your first Town Club event is free, so join us today! And even though we know you love your tots, please take time out for yourself by checking out our social events, Book Club, and upcoming Craft Fair

Upcoming Events

In March, we will attend the March 10th Half-Pint Kids Club at Whole Foods in Annapolis. Meet us at 10:45 a.m., and the class will run from 11:00-12:00. The class topic is “Barnyard Fun”—kids will make a pig in a blanket and color a barnyard scene.

Our Easter Party will be held on March 24 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 10:00-11:30 a.m.

Thank You!

Many thanks to one of our members for her informative discussion about Child Safety. Her calm presence made it easy to listen to information that is not easy to hear. The most important thing you can do as a parent, she says, is to follow your intuition: if you think that a person or a situation feels “wrong,” then you are right. If you missed this event, please visit the following websites for more information:

Additionally, “Stranger Danger” is out, and “Don’t Knows” are in. For a fantastic movie to watch with your kids that teaches them how to identify who is “safe” and who isn’t, go to www.thesafeside.com.
