President's Message

Welcome to all our members, old and new.  The Crofton Town Club is opening its door again to another year of community involvement, friendship and fun.  I
sincerely hope that your summer was restful and a chance to catch up with family and friends.  In the past months great things have happened around Crofton, including being named the 72nd best small town to live in by CNN Money Magazine.  My husband and I were drawn to Crofton 11 years ago when looking for a place to raise our family.  We both commute to DC and utilize the surrounding area for business and recreation and agree with the assessment of the editors.  CROFTON IS A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE!

This year the town club is welcoming two new Craft Fair Chairmen (Ways and
Means), Debbie Funk and Carol Daniels.  They have been working hard all summer to get the annual craft fair up and running.  Please try to volunteer to welcome people at the Town Club Table, set up signs, or mark spaces.  Any and all help is appreciated. We also welcome three new Mom and Tots Chairmen.  Ashley Fuchs, Erika Cadori and Candi Ciccarello will be taking this activity on and have a list of great activities for the little ones.  Definitely try to make this “playdate” a part of your regular schedule.  You will meet great new friends and so will your children.  Linda Sayan and Monica Matthews are back at the helm of event planning.  They are open to new ideas for ways for members to get to interact and make new friends.   Volunteer to host an event or ladies night.  This guarantees you won’t miss the fun.  Our chairs assist in everyway to help make your event a huge success.

We have changed our fee this year after more than 15 years.  Dues will increase $5 from $25 to $30.  We hope that this will allow us to provide a positive experience for all.  Please see the enclosed membership form for details.
